Originally from the Republic of Congo, Ayess is a young singer-songwriter whose music is Afrobeat/Afropop, Dancehall, and Reggae. Passionate from an early age, she did her first studio sessions at the age of 15 influenced by US R&B and West Indian Zouk. With her love for Africa, and its culture, and thanks to her openness to the world, she builds her musical identity on these elements. Wishing to offer her audience refined, unique, and original music, she proposes African percussions on 7th chords on the piano, and Afro melodies on the guitar, saxophone, bass, and double bass giving her music an Afro, Pop, Jazz, and Soul color.
